Challenge: Find the ideal method to attract the new generation (Gamification)

In 2010, PWC, one of the leading companies in the consulting world contacted us with the aim of attracting the best talent from universities and promoting the firm's positioning in the university world.

Solution

We understood Gamification as the ideal channel to attract that university talent. Thus, the company could find the best of all the universities in Spain based on empirical data. Through a team competition, the aim was to facilitate and guide students in their incorporation into the jobs experience. The game consisted of 3 online phases and a face-to-face one with the 6 finalist teams. The online phases concluded with the development of a practical case in which students applied the knowledge acquired in a real case proposed by the firm. In the face-to-face phase, PwC could choose the best talent by putting them to the test.

Results

- 3 editions of PwC Quest were developed. Each edition had the participation of more than 700 final year students from 62 Spanish universities.

- We managed to position ourselves among university students as one of the best options to start their professional career.

- It was presented internationally as a success case story.

- A large number of highly trained people were hired thanks to this game and are still with the company today.

- This initiative is a commitment for the brand for talent, people and the use of new technologies.
